Oil companies + price gouging = rich pigs
I just read an article from the Village Voice about how the oil companies having been taking advantage of the public by hiking the price of gas every time the wind changed direction even though there is a surplus of oil. No doubt Hurricane Katrina was another opprotunity for them to continue. It keeps them rolling in huge profits. And president Bush is willing to help those companies out. (Not surprising since Big Oil gave him $52 million in his last presidental campaign.) I read this and I wonder: Why are we taking this lying down when we should be holding major protests at the oil refineries over the companies' price gouging?

Well, we knew that had to happen. It will backfire on them, I am sure.
