Friday Video #12: Nirvana Christmas

Here is a clip of the band Nirvana doing an unedited take for the RuPaul Christmas Ball special, which originally aired on Britian's Channel 4 back in late 1993. (Notice Kurt Cobian holding a death lily. ) They do an acappella version of "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" and give some Christmas wishes toward RuPaul. This is what finally wound up on the proper special. One reason I miss the 90s when alt-rock bands like Nirvana weren't afraid to speak out against homophibia and support the gay community.
